Le résumé fourni par la source
This dataset contains oxygen and hydrogen isotopic data of xylem water from woody species, as well as mobile waters, sampled across several locations in the NE Iberian Peninsula and Italy. Water from the same plant individuals was extracted using two different techniques: a Cavitron (CAV, a flow rotor centrifuge) and cryogenic vacuum distillation (CVD). A subset of the water samples was analyzed using cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS), while others were analyzed using isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS). The dataset also includes parameters related to the spectral interference caused by organic compounds during the CRDS analysis. The aim of this dataset is to assess methodological discrepancies between the isotopic results of CVD and CAV extractions, as well as between CRDS and IRMS analyses.
