Supplementary materials supporting the scoping review "A Scoping Review of the Usefulness of Education Research for Policy and Practice." The materials document the search strategies, study selection process, and evaluation of the studies included in the review. The review was conducted in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute methodological framework for scoping reviews and reported using the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The review was prospectively registered with the International Database of Education Systematic Reviews (IDESR), registration ID IDESR000315
