Data and scripts for the RDycore-sediment manuscript

This archive contains the processed input data, model outputs, comparison data, postprocessing and plotting scripts used in the study describing RDycore-sediment. The archive is organized by experiment: dam_break_sed/: data and scripts for the passive dam-break sediment transport test and the dam-break test with erosion and deposition, corresponding to Sects. 3.1.1 and 3.2. lake_at_rest/: data and scripts for the lake-at-rest/c-property validation case, corresponding to Sect. 3.1.2. mms/: scripts and output for the manufactured-solution convergence test, corresponding to Sect. 3.3. Harvey/: processed RDycore and TELEMAC/GAIA outputs, USGS gauge data, spatial files, and scripts for the Houston Hurricane Harvey application, corresponding to Sects. 3.4 and 5.3. utils/: shared Python utilities used by the plotting and analysis scripts. The corresponding RDycore-sediment source code is archived separately on Zenodo. The processed outputs needed to reproduce the figures and tables are included here. Most plotting scripts should be run from their experiment directory, for example: cd Harvey python figure8_plot_rdycore_telemac_temporal_dynamics_instantaneous.py The production RDycore simulations were run on the DOE-supported Perlmutter system at NERSC. Full production reruns on another machine may require additional large forcing, mesh, and boundary-condition files and machine-specific configuration. Users planning to rerun the full Harvey simulations outside Perlmutter should contact the authors for guidance.
