The prevalence and impact of pain in non-pain rehabilitation patients
Résumé fourni par la source
In this study we will evaluate the impact of pain in patients with physical disabilities undergoing in- or outpatient rehabilitation in the Netherlands. Patients are treated for e.g. spinal cord injury, history of oncology, brain injury and peripheral neurologic disorders, but NOT for chronic pain. We will use data of the nationwide MUREVAN cohort in Dutch Rehabilitation Medicine. The study will provide an overview of the presence and impact of pain, and evaluates whether impact of pain is associated with patient reported Health Related Quality of Life, physical functioning, and social participation.
