Le résumé fourni par la source
The Editor-in-Chief of the Archives of Pediatric Neurosurgery retracts the above article. Following publication, the journal received a formal complaint raising concerns about the ownership and provenance of the data reported in the article, the accuracy of the stated study site, and the reliability of the published authorship contribution statement. During the journal's post-publication assessment, the corresponding author, Dr. Emmanuel Garba Sunday, acknowledged that significant issues concerning data ownership, study-site attribution, and author contributions had not been appropriately resolved prior to submission and publication. The corresponding author accepted responsibility for these issues and formally requested voluntary retraction of the article. Because the provenance and authorized use of the underlying data cannot be assured, and because the description of the study site and the authorship contribution statement published in the article cannot be relied upon, the Editor-in-Chief has determined that the findings and conclusions of the article should not be relied upon. The article is therefore retracted to correct the scientific record. It remains accessible on the journal's website and in indexing databases, clearly marked as retracted. Dr. Emmanuel Garba Sunday agrees with the retraction. Eno-Abasi Garba Sunday was formally notified of this decision by the journal on August 4, 2026, and did not respond to correspondence from the journal regarding the retraction within the period allowed.
