Résumé fourni par la source

This scoping review aims to systematically map and synthesise the existing evidence on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) interventions used for malaria prevention in malaria-endemic countries. Specifically, the review will identify the types of CAM interventions reported, describe the populations and settings in which they are used, summarise the prevalence and patterns of use, examine reported effectiveness, perceived benefits and safety concerns, and explore the sociocultural, economic, and health system factors influencing their use. The review will also map the methodological characteristics and geographical distribution of the evidence and identify knowledge gaps to inform future research, policy, and malaria control programmes.
