Le résumé fourni par la source

This paper examines the application of the Kelvin-Voigt rheological model to the study of contact phenomena in rolling machines. To ensure consistency with contact phenomena at the boundary points of the contact zone, a modified Kelvin-Voigt model is proposed for describing the deformation curves of contacting bodies. Using the proposed Kelvin-Voigt model, analytical relationships are formulated to determine key parameters of the contact zone, including the ratio of the deformation rates of the contacting bodies and the final and minimum thickness of the processed material. Analysis shows that the ratio of the deformation rates significantly influences the geometry and shape of the roll contact curves and the contact stress distribution diagrams. It is shown that this ratio depends on numerous factors, such as the viscosity coefficients of the contacting bodies, their initial thickness, roll radius, and the distances between the rolls. Together, these factors provide a practical basis for studying technological processes performed in rolling machines.
