This file contains the supporting information of the research with the title: "Visible and Near Infrared (VNIR) spectroscopy to decipher glass and crystal content of lab-made Martian volcanic analogues". The materials are three synthetic analogue products (N10, N11, N12) and a starting glass (Nglass). The file includes: (i) supporting figures and tables; (ii) quantitative mineralogical compositions from XRPD patterns refined with the Rietveld method using corundum as internal standard, with associated refinement quality parameters (Rp, Rwp); (iii) SEM-EDS chemical analyses (oxide wt.%) of clinopyroxene and of Fe-Mg oxides spanning the magnetite–magnesioferrite join; (iv) VNIR reflectance spectra (400–2400 nm) acquired under multiple observation geometries, provided as continuum-removed spectra; and (v) the derived absorption-band parameters (band minimum, centre, depth, area, asymmetry) obtained through the two-step convex-hull continuum removal described in the supplementary methods.
