Le résumé fourni par la source

The primary purpose of this project is to aid small-scale poultry farmers in measuring and monitoring the environmental parameters of their chicken plant throughout the day to identify any deviations in temperature, humidity, and CO2 level ranges to prevent Heat Stress. Many small-scale farms nowadays use a manual process to measure the temperature and the humidity parameters inside the farm, which consists of working on measuring them using a Thermo-hygrometer several times a day to ensure the birds are in perfect environmental conditions and saving the results in a note to analyze them later and check the bird's overall health and performance in these specific environmental parameters to make sure that the birds are not in inappropriate range of temperature and humidity and this is the task that we are trying to improve and automate. Even with this time-demanding process small-scale farmers still complain about the negative side effect of heat stress on their bird’s health and performance so we must research all of the instruments accessible in contemporary technology and pick those that will help us foresee the development of this condition and alert us to respond in a particular manner to prevent it from developing. The project’s purpose is to install a low-cost, reliable, fast, and accurate Internet of Things device that can monitor not only the temperature and humidity but also the CO2 levels of a particular area in the farm determined by our sensors’ distance limitations and create a separate alarm for each area of the farm to inform farmers if the birds are in inappropriate conditions and also save the environmental parameters in an online database so that it can help the farmers analyze these data to optimize their birds’ health, life span, and egg production.
