Le résumé fourni par la source
The second edition of the monograph in the flagship series of the Russian Respiratory Society summarizes the accumulated international and Russian experience across the entire range of issues related to sarcoidosis. In the 15 years since the publication of the first edition, many aspects of this disease have been further elucidated. Sections covering epidemiology, risk factors, and the molecular basis of sarcoidosis pathogenesis have been updated and presented in detail. The disease is considered not only a disease of the lungs but also a multisystem granulomatous disorder requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Diagnostic approaches are described by clinicians, radiologists, clinical physiologists, and bronchologists. Manifestations involving different organs are presented by experts from a wide range of medical specialties—dermatologists, cardiologists, rheumatologists, otolaryngologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, phthisiologists, pediatricians, obstetricians/gynecologists, and dentists. Clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and differential diagnosis are presented by organ system. Evidence-based treatment algorithms recommended by medical societies are presented. The monograph discusses prognosis, legal aspects, and the role of sarcoidosis in digital medicine and the Internet. The publication is intended for pulmonologists, internists, immunologists, general practitioners, phthisiologists, pathophysiologists, pathologists, radiologists, and bronchologists.
