Résumé fourni par la source

Described here is the work that was performed to support the operations of the Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) since the original deliverable D4.1 - Helpdesk Roadmap was published. This includes extensive outreach and training for the different nodes to implement the FitSM Service Management framework introduced in D4.1, the work on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) primarily performed in Task 4.3, and the core technology deployment needed to support and manage the procedures and processes necessary to operate a federated infrastructure. Extensive outreach and training has been provided to the different nodes in GDI, as there is a large diversity of maturity in the use of operational service management frameworks in general, and FitSM in particular, across the nodes. It was identified that external expert help would be needed to bring all nodes up to operational level, and a set of training sessions with external experts have been run and are planned, resulting in a roadmap for implementing FitSM across the GDI. Alignment of Tasks 4.2 and 4.3 has been carried out, with extensive collaboration to ensure that the work of both tasks is complimentary - to this end a specific workshop was held to identify responsibilities and ensure full coverage of operations. The required committees, both operational and the security and data protection committee, have been formed and are now performing their required tasks as defined in Milestone 10 - Governance structure, including operational, security, and development committees defined. The core technical infrastructure to support helpdesk and European operations has been decided upon, and has been deployed ready to support operations. The scope of the work has been defined by the expected data providers within the timeline of GDI (March 2027) and the services that can legally and technically be provided by that date, however all work that has been performed is of relevance to the prospective Genome EDIC and it is expected that the core FitSM Service Management framework can continue once the Genome EDIC is in place.
