EXPERIÊNCIAS DE SUCESSO NA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DO CURRÍCULO LOCAL EM MOÇAMBIQUE: CASO DA ZONA DE INFLUÊNCIA PEDAGÓGICA NÚMERO 1-CHIFUNDE (ZIP Nº 1- CHIFUNDE), TETE, MOÇAMBIQUE
Résumé fourni par la source
The implementation of the local curriculum in Mozambique represents an innovative educational strategy aimed at valuing community knowledge and contextualizing the teaching-learning process. This article analyzes successful experiences in this process, highlighting initiatives developed in the province of Tete, in the district of Chifunde, in the Administrative Post of Chifunde, in ZIP No.1-Chifunde. The case study demonstrates that the direct involvement of communities, the continuous training of teachers, the use of local languages, and the adaptation of teaching materials to the sociocultural context are decisive factors for the success of these practices. Another important factor is the reading programs that reinforce the importance of a multilingual approach and social participation in the construction of a more inclusive, meaningful, and efficient curriculum. Despite the advances, challenges remain related to infrastructure, scarce resources, and limited understanding of the concept of local curriculum by some educators. It is concluded that the strengthening of these experiences depends on consistent public policies, continuous teacher training and coordination between schools, communities and education management bodies.
