Role Playing Game “Oussa Pañn”: Game Session Data Collected in February 2026 in Falia and Niodior, Senegal

"Oussa Pañn" is a serious role-playing game co-designed with fisherwomen from the villages of Falia and Niodior in the Saloum Delta, Senegal. It was developed as a participatory research tool to investigate decision-making processes, collective dynamics, and adaptation strategies in small-scale fisheries. This repository contains the quantitative data collected during the game sessions conducted in February 2026 in Falia and Niodior, as well as the data generated by simulations performed with the associated agent-based model. The repository includes the Excel file quanti_database.xlsx, which contains the quantitative data collected from game observations together with the outputs of the agent-based model simulations. The file metadata.pdf provides a detailed description of every variable included in each worksheet of quanti_database.xlsx. Qualitative data collected during the game sessions and individual interviews are not included in this repository due to confidentiality and anonymization constraints. Given the small size of the communities involved and the contextual information contained in these materials, their public dissemination could create a risk of participant identification. In the published files, values replaced with "x" correspond to information that has been intentionally removed prior to publication to protect participant confidentiality and ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and ethical requirements for data sharing. These data are shared to facilitate transparency and reproducibility and to support future research on serious role-playing games, participatory modelling, small-scale fisheries, and social-ecological systems.
