Le résumé fourni par la source
In this work, we review research activities on latent heat thermophotovoltaic batteries conducted at the Solar Energy Institute of the Technical University of Madrid (IES-UPM) within the framework of the EU-funded THERMOBAT project. These activities include manufacturing and characterization of TPV cells and modules, integration into a thermal battery demonstrator, system simulations and techno-economic assessment. The review presents the latest results across these development areas, while highlighting the remaining challenges related to system performance and the techno-economic viability of the technology.
