Phytosociological surveys of plant communities from peatlands of the southern Massif central (2025)

This dataset comprises 93 floristic surveys at the southern margins of the French Massif central realized in order to define and classify modern peatland plant communities and quantify the representativeness of the local pollen rain. Multivariate analyses including two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN) allowed us to identify 17 distinct plant communities across a continentality/oceanity biogeographical gradient.
