EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHER EDUCATION: DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL, DIDACTIC, DIGITAL, AND RESEARCH COMPETENCIES

This study focused on educational technologies in teacher education, considering their contribution to the development of pedagogical, didactic, digital, and research competencies. The research sought to answer how these technologies support teachers’ professional development and enhance teaching practices. The objective was to analyze the scientific evidence on this relationship. The theoretical framework was based on studies addressing educational technologies, curriculum, digital competencies, teacher education, and digital education policies. An integrative literature review was conducted using national and international scientific databases, with studies selected and synthesized according to predefined criteria. The findings showed that integrating technologies into pedagogical planning, combined with continuing professional development, strengthens teaching practice, expands the development of digital competencies, and promotes a more purposeful use of technological resources. It is concluded that investment in teacher education contributes to improving educational processes and strengthening the implementation of digital education policies.
