Le résumé fourni par la source
A comprehensive Australian dataset of 2,834 mining polygons, covering a total of 8,516 km2. Each polygon is manually assigned attribute information, including 61,275 data entries across 113 data fields (e.g., names, projects, primary and secondary commodities, ore processed, ownership information), with >93% coverage for names and commodities. Through an extensive curation and validation process, data points are assigned with effective distinction of boundaries between co-located facilities. Polygons are manually delineated from high-resolution satellite imagery from 2021 to 2025. The dataset supports high-resolution monitoring of the impacts of the Australian mining sector and provides insights into the relationships between land use and production history
