Résumé fourni par la source

DFTTools Version 4.0.0 is a major release that is compatible with TRIQS 4.0.x and uses the latest app4triqs skeleton outsources all DFT converters to the new dftkit package, which is now a dependency removes the C++ and cpp2py dependencies, making DFTTools a pure-Python application replaces the remaining Fortran/C code (linear tetrahedron integration, Elk PMAT.OUT reader) with pure-Python implementations, dropping the f2py and Meson build dependencies adds support for the new VASP 6.5.0 HDF5 interface ensures compatibility with NumPy 2.0 We thank all contributors: Markus Aichhorn, Sophie Beck, Germán Blesio, Jennifer Coulter, Thomas Hahn, Alexander Hampel, Xiao Jiang, Harrison LaBollita, Henri Menke, Dario Fiore Mosca, Dylan Simon, Nils Wentzell, Chia-Nan Yeh, jmmshn Find below an itemized list of changes in this release. Converters moved to dftkit All DFT converters (Wien2k, VASP, Wannier90, Elk, generic H(k)) have been moved into the standalone dftkit package and are now consumed from there. The triqs_dft_tools.converters module is kept for backward compatibility and simply re-exports the converters from triqs_dftkit, so existing user code continues to work. dftkit is resolved as a CMake (CPM) dependency at build time. Removal of C++ support DFTTools no longer compiles any C++ or Fortran code and no longer depends on cpp2py; it is now a pure-Python application built on the python_only app4triqs skeleton. The C code for tetrahedron integration and the f2py Fortran module for the Elk PMAT.OUT reader were rewritten in pure Python, removing the f2py and Meson build dependencies. Other Changes Run port_to_triqs4 script (triqs.gf -> triqs.gfs) for the TRIQS 4.0 API changes Use the latest app4triqs skeleton (python-only), including the PyPI publishing workflow New VASP 6.5.0 HDF5 support capability and updated documentation (#262, #269) Read dft_bands_input for VASP calculations Allow to write vaspgamma.h5 file for SOC (SO==1) Allow spinave in calc_density_correction also for VASP and QE Add option to use a DLR mesh in Sumk (#254) Read Wannier centres and symmetry k-path from Wannier90 (#253) WannierBerri velocity updates and optics cleanup Optimize tetrahedron integration for NumPy Use the new .values() functionality of meshes Allow comment lines in SRC_templates for newer Wien2k versions Raise an error if dichotomy fails to converge Avoid the deprecated using_gf fallback for block analysis Replace scipy.integrate.simps with scipy.integrate.simpson (#255) Replace numpy.lib.pad with numpy.pad and ensure compatibility against NumPy 2.0 Fix SyntaxWarning for invalid escape sequences Fix Unicode characters in Elk files (#267) Fix the dtype used for dos_tetra_weights_3d
