This paper presents an extension of the pyrepo-mcda Python package through the implementation of the Temporal PROMETHEE II (TP2) method. TP2 extends the classical PROMETHEE II approach by incorporating historical evaluation data and temporal variability into the decision-making process. The implementation supports all preference functions available in the original PROMETHEE II method and provides additional diagnostic outputs related to performance trends and variability. The correctness of the implementation is demonstrated using illustrative examples and a reproduction of a published empirical study, with results fully consistent with the reference publication. The update expands the package’s capabilities toward longitudinal multi-criteria decision analysis.
