Nigeria's healthcare system faces persistent challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, a shortage of skilled health professionals, and fragmented health information systems. These issues have hindered progress toward achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The integration of eHealth the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in healthcare offers a transformative opportunity to address these systemic weaknesses. This paper explores the intersection of eHealth, clinical governance, and health system strengthening in Nigeria. It emphasizes the importance of digital health tools such as electronic health records (EHRs), telemedicine, and mobile health (mHealth) in enhancing service delivery, accountability, and public health surveillance. The study underscores the need for robust governance frameworks, sustainable financing, and capacity building to ensure the effective implementation and scalability of eHealth initiatives.
