Title: Implementation strategies, outcomes, theories, models and frameworks in physical activity and nutrition interventions among children and adolescents aged 6-19 years: a scoping review protocol
Le résumé fourni par la source
This scoping review examines how implementation science has been applied in physical activity and nutrition interventions targeting children and adolescents aged 6 to 19 years. While many interventions have been developed to improve healthy eating and physical activity behaviours, evidence indicates that these often fail to achieve their desired impact when translated into real-world settings. A major reason for this gap is insufficient understanding of how interventions are implemented. This study uses a scoping review methodology to synthesize the existing evidence on implementation in physical activity and nutrition interventions. To achieve this, we aim to map the nature, range and extent of reporting on theories, models and frameworks, implementation outcomes and strategies among children and adolescents aged 6–19 years. The review will report on the commonly applied implementation strategies, implementation outcomes, theories, models and frameworks, and equity considerations in these interventions. These findings will contribute to advancing understanding of the implementation strategies, outcomes and theories in nutrition and physical activity interventions among children and adolescents aged 6-19 years
