ABSTRACT This article explores the link between sustainable entrepreneurship and ethics. Based on a systematic literature review, the article analyzes 153 articles by adopting a content analysis approach. The article explores dominant theories, themes and key stakeholders impacted by sustainable entrepreneurship and ethics and focuses on novel entrepreneurship paradigms, which include social, environmental, institutional and circular ones. Through its systematic approach, the article advances the research on ethics and sustainable entrepreneurship by developing a framework that interlinks ethics vulnerabilities, stakeholders and theories with different levels of analysis (individual, organisational and interorganisational levels). Finally, a research agenda is developed to advance new research streams through the field of sustainable entrepreneurship and ethics.
