[ENG:]The dataset was collected at the Rzecin peatland research station (52.75°N, 16.30°E) in northwestern Poland during the 2024 growing season (17 May – 7 September 2024; five field campaigns C1–C5). It comprises four CSV files: (1) daily tower-based meteorological aggregates (air temperature, VPD, precipitation, PPFD, relative humidity) and water-table depth at nine plots P1–P9 for the full calendar year 2024 (meteo_daily.csv); (2) leaf-level OJIP chlorophyll-a fluorescence transient parameters from dark-adapted leaves measured with a HandyPEA fluorometer on four species (Carex, Comarum, Sphagnum, Vaccinium) across nine plots (ojip_leaf_level_clean.csv – JIP-test performance indices and specific energy fluxes per reaction centre: PIabs, ABS/RC, TRo/RC, ETo/RC, DIo/RC); (3) leaf chlorophyll content (Chl a + b) measured with a CCM-300 chlorophyll-content meter, in mg m⁻² (ccm_leaf_level_clean.csv); (4) peat pore-water chemistry – dissolved nitrogen species (NH4, NO2, NO3, organic N, total N), phosphorus species (PO4, total P) and base cations (K, Mg, Ca), in mg L⁻¹ (nutrients_clean.csv). Sampling was designed to capture short-term physiological responses of Sphagnum and vascular plants to the 2024 European heatwave; a heatwave flag (TRUE/FALSE) is recorded in the campaign files.
