Pediatric asthma is a leading chronic childhood condition. Family-centered education and environmental health management are each independently associated with improved outcomes, but few interventions have integrated both approaches within a single program. The "Eco-Parenting for Pediatric Asthma" program was developed to combine evidence-based asthma self-management education with structured guidance on sustainable environmental practices at home (e.g., indoor air quality, safe cleaning, allergen reduction), with the aim of improving asthma control and quality of life while promoting environmentally responsible caregiving behavior.
