Le résumé fourni par la source
The rapid expansion of global green product trade has deepened international cooperation on climate mitigation while creating increasingly complex and interconnected trade networks vulnerable to environmental shocks. Using bilateral trade data for 284 green products across more than 170 countries from 2003 to 2023, this study develops a multilayer network framework to assess vulnerability at the global-product, country-country, and country-product levels. By integrating social network analysis with a climate physical risk index, the results show that climate risks intensify structural vulnerability, particularly in technology-intensive sectors. The findings highlight a fundamental trade-off between technological specialization and systemic robustness in the global green transition. This study contributes to the literature by showing how environmental shocks propagate through information-intensive trade networks and by offering policy implications for more climate-resilient green trade systems.
