Blastophaga nipponica Grandi, 1922 Figure 5A–H Blastophaga nipponica Grandi, 1922: 304. Syntype, ♀. Type depository: IEGB, Italy. Type locality: Japan. Diagnosis. FEMALE (habitus: Fig. 5A). Body length 1.54–1.61 mm. Body dark brown except as follows: pedicel to flagellum brown; femora to tibiae brown and tarsi yellowish brown. Head 1.2× as wide as long. Antenna (Fig. 5B) with F5–F9 at least 3× as long as wide; clavomere 1 free from remaining clavomeres. Mesosoma (Fig. 5C) with sparse, short setae on pronotum; propodeum with long setae posterolaterally. MALE (Fig. 5H). Body length 1.3–1.4 mm. Body color varying from brown to dark brown. Head (Fig. 5G) with piliferous punctures except posteromedially; antennal groove one-sixth length of head. Pronotum (Fig. 5F) with a longitudinal suture medially. Metatibia (Fig. 5H) without any spines. Distribution. South Korea (new record), Japan, Taiwan. Host plant. Moraceae. Ficus erecta. Material examined.
