Ancistroceron schultzei Huang & Horie nom. nov. Figs. 51–53, 94, 116, 143, 156 Ancistroceron luzonensis Schultze, 1925 (nec Semper 1898): 570, pl. 1, fig. 7. Material examined. 1 male, Baguio, Benguet, Luzon Island, 5000 ft., 30. V. 1912, leg. A. E. Wileman, ex Wileman collection, NHMUK014199985, gen. slide No. NHMUK014330975 (NHMUK); 1 female, same locality and collector, but 6. VI. 1912, NHMUK014199984, gen. slide No. NHMUK014332932 (NHMUK). Diagnosis. Length of forewing 13.5 mm in male and 14 mm in female. Ancistroceron schultzei Huang & Horie nom. nov. is unmistakable by having orange head and thorax and both wings without metallic patterns. In male genitalia, A. schultzei nom. nov. is reminiscent of A. luzonensis comb. nov. but differs in the broader uncus with shorter medial branch, the shorter distal section of posterior tegumenal process, the narrower distal membranous lobe of valvae and the slightly longer phallus. The female genitalia of A. schultzei nom. nov. are almost identical to those of A. luzonensis comb. nov. but differ in the slightly larger postvaginal plate. Etymology. The new replacement name is derived from Willy Carl Max Schultze (1881–1940), who worked in the Bureau of Science, Manila, the Philippines as an entomologist. He described this species and placed it correctly in the genus Ancistroceron. The name is a noun in the genitive case. Distribution. The Philippines (Luzon Island) (Fig. 156) Remarks. With the transference of the taxon Callizygaena luzonensis (Semper, 1898) from the genus Callizygaena to Ancistroceron, the name Ancistroceron luzonensis Schultze, 1925 became a junior secondary homonym and thus invalid. Therefore, here we propose a new replacement name, A. schultzei Huang & Horie nom. nov. for this species.
