Software framework for TolTEC operation and data automation

The TolTEC Camera, mounted on the Large Millimeter Telescope (LMT), is a continuum imaging polarimeter that simultaneously observers at 1.1, 1.4, and 2.0mm wavelengths. TolTECA v3 is the third major release of the TolTEC data handling software stack that facilitates the TolTEC operation and TolTEC data automation. In this version, we rewrite the data model implementation using the a schema-driven design focusing on structured metadata, and the tolteca_db submodule is now a separate dedicated package built on top of the data models, providing layered API endpoints for interacting with the data acquisition system, initializing data ingestion tasks, orchestration of data reduction pipelines, and working as the visualization tooling backend, both during observing and during post-data analysis sessions. With TolTECA v3, TolTEC operation is fully automated throughout the data and data product lifecycle from raw data ingestion to data product management.
