Related publication: Direct detection of hydrogen reveals a new macroscopic crustal water reservoir on early Mars. Explanation: Segmentation based on neutron and X-ray CT data of Martian meteorite NWA 7034/ Black Beauty in different resolutions.Segmentation of X-ray diffraction CT to get small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) signal at 0.1-0.6 Å^-1. This dataset contains four files: "tv_recon_segmentation.tif" the segmented volume with a voxel size of 6.2 micrometer."segment_registered_to_overview_abs_.tif" which is the subvolume of the segmented volume overlapping with the XRD-CT reconstruction with a voxel size of 5 micrometer."segment_lowres_registered_to_overview_abs.tif" which is the subvolume of the segmemtation overlapping with the XRD-CT reconstruction with a voxel size of 25 micrometer, the same resolution as the XRD-CT reconstruction."SAXS_volume.tif" which is the segmented SAXS scattering intensity from the XRD-CT reconstruction. Voxel size 25 micrometer. Methods, materials and software: Segmentation of neutron and X-ray reconstruction was performed in Python in file "Registration_and_segmentation.ipynb". Segmentation of SAXS data was performed in Python file "XRD-CT_segment_volume.ipynb". These can be found on github at https://github.com/msaca-okse/Multimodal_CT_Black_Beauty.
