The Effect of Education Given to Hemodialysis Patients on Independence and Self-Care: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective: This randomized controlled trial aimed to determine the effects of training based on the Roper-Logan-Tierney Nursing Model on the independence levels and self-care agency of individuals receiving hemodialysis treatment in their daily living activities.Methods: The study was conducted with 78 patients (40 in the experimental group, 38 in the control group) at a hemodialysis unit in Türkiye. The experimental group received a 6-week Roper-Logan-Tierney Nursing Model-based training program, while the control group received routine care.
