Map of Agricultural Land of Continental Africa (Annex)

The Soils4Africa project produced a Map of Agricultural Land (MAL) for Africa based on Copernicus Global Land Cover data. The methodology used to generate the map was described in the Soils4Africa report D4.1: Map of Agricultural Land. Following publication of the report, several shortcomings in the MAL were identified, prompting a revision of the dataset. This document serves as an annex to the original report and describes the updated classification rules applied in the revised version of the MAL.
