Syphilis is resurging among reproductive-age women in the United States. Among 773 women with and without HIV enrolled in the Study of Treatment and Reproductive Outcomes (STAR), 2.9% had prior/current syphilis, including 1 pregnant participant. Factors associated with prior/current syphilis included lower education, unemployment, incarceration history, and history of transactional sex.
