Trials of nutrition and diet in the management of inflammatory bowel disease in adults: A scoping review protocol
Le résumé fourni par la source
There is a plentiful supply of growing research examining how diet is used for management of IBD, but the landscape of clinical trials in this area has not been comprehensively mapped. This scoping review aims to map the extent, characteristics and methodological features of clinical trials investigating nutrition and diet interventions in the management of IBD in adults. The purpose of this review is to identify where evidence is concentrated, where methodological gaps remain and how future nutrition and diet trials in IBD can be designed to produce more robust clinically meaningful and mechanistically informative evidence.
