Exploring a Correlation Between Lower Life Satisfaction Scores, Higher Depression Index Scores, and Higher Self-Alienation Scores
Résumé fourni par la source
Our project aims to explore a potential correlation between lower life satisfaction scores (per Diener et al.'s 1985 Satisfaction With Life Scale), higher depression index scores (per Beck et al.'s 1996 Beck Depression Inventory), and higher self-alienation scores (a subset of authenticity taken from Wood et al.'s 2008 Authenticity Scale). We are performing secondary analysis on survey data from Hart et al.'s 2024 study "Don’t Worry About Being You: Relations Between Perceived Authenticity and Mental Health are Due to Self-Esteem and Executive Functioning."
