This dataset contains the processed input files required to run an interactive Streamlit-based data browser for exploring cis- and trans-regulatory variation in gene expression at single-cell resolution across multiple mouse tissues and genetic backgrounds. The data were generated from single-nucleus RNA-sequencing experiments spanning eight tissues and multiple genetically distinct mouse strains, including founder strains and F1 hybrids. Gene-level regulatory effects (cis, trans, cis×trans, and conserved) were inferred using allele-specific expression (ASE) in combination with parental expression differences, following a statistical framework implemented in XgeneR (binomial and generalized linear model-based testing). These data accompany streamlit viewer: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19340323 Dataset contents This Zenodo record includes two primary components: 1. Global regulatory inference table File: cis_trans_results_table.csv Description:A comprehensive table of gene-level regulatory assignments across all strains, tissues, and cell types. 2. Gene expression input data for visualization Directory: gene_count_data/subtype/filtered/ Description:Per-strain, per-tissue input files used for gene-level visualization within the app. File types (per strain and tissue): _xgener_input_dataframe.csv _xgener_input_metadata.csv File organization The data should be placed in the following directory structure for compatibility with the viewer: project_root/├── cis_trans_results_table.csv└── gene_count_data/ └── subtype/ └── filtered/ ├── _xgener_input_dataframe.csv ├── _xgener_input_metadata.csv └── ...
