Proton Detector efficiency simulation for the GADGET system
Le résumé fourni par la source
v1.0.0 — Initial release This is the initial public release of the proton-detection efficiency simulation code accompanying T. Budner et al. "β-delayed proton pandemonium: A first detailed ³¹Cl(βpγ)³⁰P decay scheme," accepted for publication in Physical Review C (2026). The code reconstructs the beam-spot distribution on the GADGET Proton Detector's segmented anode plane, samples beam-spot and electron-cloud distributions from data, and runs a simplified geometric Monte Carlo simulation to evaluate proton-detection efficiency across a systematic parameter scan. See the README for build instructions, configuration details, and usage examples. Please cite both the paper and this software as described in CITATION.cff.
