MALDI-MSI Single-Cell Lipidomics Datasets of Glioma and Breast Cancer Cell Lines Acquired Using CellenOne-Guided Cell Deposition - Positive ion mode

The dataset was generated to evaluate a workflow combining the CellenOne single-cell isolation platform with MALDI-MSI for high-throughput single-cell lipidomic profiling without fluorescence staining, cell registration, or pre-imaging procedures. Cells were individually dispensed onto indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass slides using the CellenOne platform and analyzed using a Bruker MALDI timsTOF flex instrument at 10 µm spatial resolution. Data were acquired in both positive ionization mode. The repository includes centroid imzML/ibd20 datasets from the following cell lines: Glioma: NCH82, A172, U118 Breast cancer: MCF7, AU565, BT549 Irradiated NCH82 cells Dataset characteristics Instrument: Bruker MALDI timsTOF flex Spatial resolution: 10 µm Ionization modes: Positive Data format: imzML/ibd These datasets support the development and evaluation of fluorescence-free, registration-free single-cell MALDI-MSI workflows and may be reused for benchmarking, image analysis, lipidomics and computational method development.
