httk Extension Package for Brain and Adipose Compartments

The included software package provides an extension to the high-throughput toxicokinetics (httk) R package (v2.2.2). While the standard httk framework offers generalized pbtk modeling, this modification integrates specific compartments for adipose and brain tissues, following modeling framework described by Davidson-Fritz et al. (2025). The model utilizes a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) implemented through C script for computational efficiency. Key features include updated chemical-specific parameterization and the new “solve_pbtk_adipose_complexbrain” function, allowing for predictions of chemical distribution in these compartments.
