Le résumé fourni par la source
Over the past two decades, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have emerged as significant materials due to their extensive synthetic modularity and unique properties, including high crystallinity, exceptional porosity, and tunable pore sizes. These characteristics underpin their wide-ranging applications across various fields, such as catalysis, gas storage, biomedicine, and sensing. The incorporation of porphyrin molecules as organic ligands in MOF structures or as building blocks in COFs further enhances these well-organized porous frameworks, improving their optical, electrical, and (photo)catalytic properties. However, among the diverse arrays of porphyrin-based frameworks, those exhibiting chirality remain relatively scarce. This brief review provides a comprehensive overview of all the systems developed to date, highlighting advancements in this area and emphasizing the promising roles of these optically active materials in advancing applications related to chirality.
