Bullying is a pervasive issue among Jordanian children and adolescents, defined primarily by Olweus's and the Centers for Disease and Control's (CDC) definitions, emphasizing repetitive aggression and power imbalance. Jordanian research on this phenomenon shows a variation in prevalence and risk factors due to methodological differences. Association of bullying with negative psychological and school-related outcomes is evident. Despite some anti-bullying initiatives like media campaigns and volunteer programs, Jordan lacks a specific anti-bullying policy, which hampers comprehensive and effective interventions. More focused research efforts are needed to address this issue systematically with advanced research methodologies and the evaluation of anti-bullying strategies and programs’ effectiveness.
