On Information and Time - A Spacelike 5D Informational Metric
Résumé fourni par la source
On Information and Time — A Spacelike 5D Informational Metric (OIT-SIM) develops a minimal geometric framework in which physically relevant informational differentiation is represented by an additional coordinate "I" in an extended manifold XA = (t, x, y, z, I). The proposed metric is: dΣ2 = c2dt2 − dx2 − dy2 − dz2 − k02dI2 with k0 a Planck-order informational metric coefficient. The corresponding interval relation is: dτ5D² = dτ4D² − (k0/c)²dI² The informational coordinate is spacelike and does not represent a second physical time. This spacelike formulation refines earlier timelike exploratory versions of the OIT-GEPT program in order to preserve a single temporal direction, avoid timelike-extra-dimension instabilities, and maintain compatibility with 4D causality. The framework introduces an informational background sector ΦI(X) = (k0, JIA(X)) and a phenomenological scalar infoton field ϕ, whose leading observable role is phase modulation through derivative couplings to conserved currents. The model is kinematic and structural; operational reconstruction of dI, thermodynamic filtering, and effective k(x,I) dynamics are left to OIT-TISIM. ORCID: https://orcid.org/0009-0002-3646-1493
