Le résumé fourni par la source

Laser cladding is characterized by rapid melting and solidification, often resulting in composition dilution, and elemental segregation, which limit further improvement of coating quality. In this study, GH3625 nickel-based alloy powder was laser-cladded onto 304 stainless steel under a steady longitudinal magnetic field (0–200 mT). The effects of different magnetic field were investigated on the macrostructure, microstructure, elemental distribution, phase composition, hardness, and tribological performance of the cladding layers. The influence of the magnetic field on molten pool dynamics was analyzed, focusing on the combined roles of Marangoni convection, thermoelectromagnetic convection, and magnetic braking. The magnetic field significantly altered convective behavior and solidification patterns. As the magnetic field strength increases, a transition inside the molten pool is observed from thermoelectromagnetic convection-dominated behavior to magnetically induced damping-dominated behavior. The cladding layer exhibited grain refinement followed by slight coarsening, with the dilution ratio and Fe content first increasing and then decreasing. At a magnetic field intensity of 200 mT, the degree of Nb enrichment in the Laves phase is the lowest. When the magnetic field reaches 200 mT, the cladding layer achieves optimal microhardness and wear resistance, with a hardness of 275 HV 0.2 and a wear loss of 5.5 mg.
