Le résumé fourni par la source

In order to search for alternative fungicide to control postharvest potato dry rot pathogens, this study was designed to determine the chemical composition of essential oils (EOs) from Cinnamomum longepaniculatum using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and evaluate their antifungal activities of individual EOs constitute against Fusarium trichothecioides , Fusarium avenaceum , and Fusarium culmorum. GC-MS analysis identified 23 compounds, constituting 97.41% of the EOs with eucalyptol (50.21%), α-terpineol (11.82%), and sabinene (10.84%) as the major components. α-terpineol and sabenene exhibited strong antifungal activities. Especially, eucalyptol demonstrated 100% inhibition against all three fungal strains with the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) against F. trichothecioides, F. avenaceum, and F. culmorum were 1.00, 0.75, and 0.75 µL‧mL -1 , respectively. Scanning electron microscopy revealed morphological alterations in fungal hyphae treated with EOs, including abnormal contraction, distortion, irregular thickening of cell walls, and the presence of undifferentiated hyphae and inclusion bodies within hyphal cells. In summary, α-terpineol, sabenene, and eucalyptol show promise as natural alternatives for controlling postharvest potato dry rot disease caused by three tested Fusarium species.
