Proton and FLASH Therapy
Le résumé fourni par la source
Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force across various sectors, with a particularly significant impact in healthcare. This transformation has been enabled by advances in big data, computing power, and machine learning algorithms. 1 , 2 In radiotherapy specifically, AI has become increasingly relevant as the field progresses toward more precise and personalized cancer treatments, complementing technologies like Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), IGRT, SBRT, and proton therapy. The radiotherapy workflow, which encompasses multiple complex stages from imaging to post-treatment follow-up, stands to benefit significantly from AI integration to enhance efficiency. 1–4
