Efficient generation of isolated attosecond pulses via non-collinear optical gating using two-color laser beams

Non-collinear optical gating (NOG) with monochro?matic laser beams has been used to generate isolated attosecond pulses (IAPs) via non-collinear high-order harmonic generation. Here, we propose a novel two?color scheme to overcome the limitations of the traditional NOG method. We show that the resulting IAPs exhibit significant improvements in duration, intensity, and isolation compared with the single-color case. The robustness of the IAP generation is demonstrated across a broad range of relative phases between the two colors, which is attributed to spatial laser waveform modulation in the non-collinear geometry. We also show that the pulse duration used in the NOG can be doubled when driven by two-color laser beams comprising the fundamental and second harmonic fields. This work provides an efficient pathway for generating IAPs for a wide range of applications.
