Le résumé fourni par la source
Novel T-cell directed therapies, including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cells and bispecific antibodies, have transformed treatment for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). Although myeloma remains largely incurable, BCMA-directed CAR-T therapy has demonstrated unprecedented efficacy with overall response rates (ORR) of 73–100% and complete response rates of 33–90% [ 1 , 2 ]. However, racial and ethnic minorities, who experience disproportionate myeloma burden with higher incidence and mortality, remain underrepresented in clinical trials [ 3 ], leaving critical gaps in understanding safety and efficacy for these populations [ 4 ].
