The ANR PARCEDES data management plan provides a structured description of how the project’s data has been collected, organised, stored, documented, shared and preserved, and how it can be reused by all. It has been drafted using the template provided by the Huma-Num consortium, known as MASA+ (Mémoire des archéologues et des sites archéologiques), adapted for archaeological data, based on the Opidor DMP platform.The PARCEDES programme, funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR-21-CE27-0017-01) between 2022 and 2025 is a collaborative research project bringing together researchers from diverse backgrounds to study the organisation and evolution of agricultural land parcels from Protohistory to the present day by cross-referencing planimetric, archaeological, historical, geographical and/or palaeoenvironmental data. The analyses focus on four sites located in France (southern Vendée and the Nîmes region), Italy (Maremma in Tuscany) and England (South Hams in Devon). This programme involves several institutions and research centres at European level, notably: University of Rennes 2, Universities of Siena and Rome La Sapienza (Italy), Universities of Newcastle and St Andrews (United Kingdom), INRAP, the Department of the Vendée, the “Time Machine Projects” Consortium of IR* Huma-Num, and the French Association of Archaeogeography (AFAG).
