The present study evaluates the synergy essential oil extraction, phytochemical composition, and antimicrobial activity of Hygrophila auriculata and Sesamum indicum L seeds against selected selected microorganisms. Oils were extracted using cold-press techniques to ensure maximum recovery of bioactive compounds. Preliminary phytochemical screening revealed the presence of phenolics, flavonoids, terpenoids, and other secondary metabolites known for their biological activity. Quantitative analysis indicated appreciable levels of total phenolic and flavonoid content in the sample. The antimicrobial potential was assessed using the agar well diffusion method against bacterial and fungal isolates. Results demonstrated measurable zones of inhibition, indicating effective antimicrobial properties, with sesame oil showing comparatively higher activity in certain strains. In silico docking studies also predicted good antimicrobial properties. The findings suggest that these plant-derived oils possess significant phytochemical constituents responsible for antimicrobial effects and may serve as promising natural alternatives for controlling microbial infections. Further studies are recommended to isolate and characterize the active compounds.
