Data and code for "From cold-water refuge to thermal stress: projected warming of Czech rivers and implications for brown trout"
Résumé fourni par la source
Processed data and R analysis code accompanying Orság et al. (2026), From cold-water refuge to thermal stress: projected warming of Czech rivers and implications for brown trout, Hydrology and Earth System Sciences. The repository contains the daily observed water and air temperature series for 35 Czech river profiles, the SSP2-4.5 projection outputs (per-metric annual series and per-year snapshots), and the R scripts that reproduce the study's quantitative results. Numbered scripts (01–06) run in sequence to reproduce the model calibration, Mann–Kendall trend analysis, threshold and heat-wave statistics, and the point maps; two standalone scripts generate the study-area map and the supplementary panels. See the included README for the repository structure, the mapping between each script and the corresponding manuscript section, and the software requirements. Figures 2 and 3 were produced separately in ArcGIS Pro from gridded rasters outside this repository; all profile-level data underlying the quantitative results are included here.
