General setup The BlueMinerva is an autonomous measurement platform for monitoring aquatic–atmospheric properties and carbon fluxes in a lake using a range of sensors: Greenhouse gas analyzers: LI-7810 (LI-COR, USA) for CO₂ and CH₄ CARBOCAP GMP343 (Vaisala, Finland) for CO₂ EXO2 multiparameter sonde (YSI, USA) for measurements of water temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, dissolved fluorescent organic matter, turbidity, chlorophyll and phycocyanin Single beam echosounder (BlueRobotics, USA) for measurements of water depth Various meteorological sensors for measurements of ambient temperature, humidity, pressure, and wind speed All data were collected at 1 Hz and saved on a CR1000X datalogger (Campbell Scientific, USA).
